Electric Strikes For Aluminum Jambs: The HIT-41 SERIES will allow fast and accurate installation of electric strikes in aluminum doors and frames with the use of a router. After using scribe lines on the template to determine the proper alignment, fasten template to the door or frame with the two self drilling screws (supplied) and route out the opening. After removing the HIT-41 from the frame, the mounting holes left from the template are used to locate the strike mounting tabs supplied by the factory. HIT-41 SERIES will work on the frame of a single offset hung door, or the inactive leaf of a double door. Requires a router with a 3/8" outside diameter guide and a 1/4" diameter router bit.
